An alarming statistical increase of allergies and asthma in the U.S. has become a key issue driving the development of products that improve indoor air quality (IAQ).
ProTeam is proud to have established a partnership with the American Lung Association (ALA) to educate the public about indoor air quality. This is the first full-scale partnership of its kind between the ALA and a vacuum cleaner manufacturer.
The American Lung Association is the oldest voluntary health organization in the United States, with a National Office and constituent associations around the country. Founded in 1904 to fight tuberculosis, they have expanded their efforts to lung disease in all its forms, with special emphasis on asthma, tobacco control and environmental health. The Lung Association is funded by contributions from the public along with gifts and grants from corporations, foundations and government agencies. Many successes come through the work of thousands of committed volunteers and staff.
According to Charles D. Connor , CEO of the Lung Association, “The mission of the American Lung Association is to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. We are excited to be working with Pro-Team because they are a company that shares our vision, and this exclusive educational partnership helps to further our lifesaving mission.”
